Take over of „Neuburger Hof
Taking over the traditional Hotel “Neuburger Hof” in Weingarten as a leasehold.
Purchase of a property on Burachstraße
1962
CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST BED AND BREAKFAST HOTEL
Construction of the first Bed and Breakfast hotel in Ravensburg.
Management until return of the leased Hotel „Neuburger Hof“.
At this point, besides breakfast, the hotel was able to offer dinner by request.
1967 - 1968
AQUISITION OF PROPERTY
Purchase of another property in front of the Bed and Breakfast Hotel on Burachstrasse.
New construction of the first hotel, with 36 rooms, all equipped with a sink and shower separated by a curtain from the rest of the room, which was considered very comfortable for its time standard.
1979 -1981
DEMOLITION OF THE BED AND BREAKFAST HOTEL
The hotel had kept the founding walls in the demolition because of the new construction regulations, which had made the restauration very complicated and unviable.
1984 - 1985
REFURBISHMENT
Due to the refurbishment of the building, separated bathrooms were built resulting in a reduction to 28 rooms from the 36 rooms.
1988
RENOVATION OF THE ROOF
Extensive renovation of the roof and external facade
1988 - 1990
REFURBISHMENT OF THE RESTAURANT
A fundamental refurbishment of the a la carte restaurant had brought the restaurant to a conceptual change.
1991
ATTIC EXTENTION
The attic had turned into a 3 rooms floor with our exclusive “Welfensuite” and two romantic rooms.

LAUNDRY ROOM UPGRADE
The laundry room were then equipped with new machinery to keep up with the enhancement of the hotel. Financial reasons lead to a part conversion to natural gas.
Our laundry service is still successfully being managed in the hotel.
1996 - 1997
EXTENSION AND REDESIGN
The entrance hall was extended and redesigned into a modern communication niche.
1999
´THE BEGINING OF THE COMPUTER ERA
The begining of the Computer Era at „Altdorfer Hof“with Protel (Hotelsoftware).
2000
CONVERSION IN THE GUEST HOUSE
5 staff rooms located in our guest house were into business rooms equipped with a big desk, queen-size bed and modem connection

EXTENSION OF THE CONFERENCE ROOM
Extension and modern design of our conference room had enabled us to fulfil most of our guest´s expectations

4 EXCLUSIVE JUNIOR SUITES
Total renovation of 4 double rooms in our main building into Junior suites.

RENOVATION OF THE CANOPY
The renovation of the canopy has resulted into comfortable interconnecting rooms
2005
COGENERATION UNITS
Installation of two cogeneration units and simultaneously an upgrade of the heating system in all rooms.
2007 - 2008
DSL Access
Installation of DSL Access in most of the rooms.
2011
CHRISTIAN UNGLERT TAKES OVER
Christian Unglert takes over his family business – supported by his fiancée Meike Klenner and by his mother.
Meike Klenner has been working for a long time at the hotel.
Their first son Niklas Florin Unglert was born on June 29th 2011.
Unfortunately, the esteemed senior Director Alfons Unglert passed away in February 2011.
2012
PAVILLON AS EXTENSION OF THE RESTAURANT
The Pavillion was built according to Alfons und Gertrud Unglert’s plans.
It allocates 40 people and has a buffet with a stove.
We also have rearranged our terrace and playground.
On December 12th 2012, Christian and Meike Unglert had their civil wedding at Schlössle
2013
WEDDING AND FAMILY
On Mai 25th 2013, Christian and Meike Unglert got married at church Basilika Birnau.
In August they have their second son Jakob Bennet.
2014
COLD STORAGE
Renovation of the Kitchen and construction of a new cold storage
2015
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
Installation of a modern fire alarm system
2016
AIR CONDITIONING, NATURAL GAS & TECHNOLOGY
Huge renovation in our guest house.
Six geothermal boreholes with a depth of 150 m each for our new air conditioning acquisition.
60 new Smart-TVs were bought and a new locker system with card and pin code was installed in both houses
2017
END OF THE RENOVATION
We refurbished 13 rooms, 20 bathrooms and 3 hallways in our Guest house.
We have also improved the fire protection system.
Thinking of our guest´s comfort we have installed in 27 rooms Rain shower system, air conditioning and Whirlpool with TV – by request.

50 YEARS ALTDORFER HOF
50 Anniversary Altdorfer Hof – Celebrated on Juli 15th 2018.
